Ncore O₂ Therapy

Ncore O₂ Therapy is a cutting-edge wound care solution that delivers concentrated oxygen directly to the wound site, accelerating healing, reducing infection risk, and improving patient comfort. Designed for both clinical and home use, it offers a safe, non-invasive, and effective approach to advanced wound management.

Product Details

Ncore O₂ Therapy is an advanced wound care solution designed to accelerate the natural healing process by delivering concentrated oxygen directly to the wound site. Oxygen plays a critical role in cell metabolism, collagen production, and new blood vessel formation—key factors in effective tissue repair.

PRESSURISED TOPICAL OXYGEN THERAPY

  • Topical oxygen therapy (TOT) is a Non Invasive Treatment that delivers 100% oxygen directly to the wound surface at pressures higher than atmospheric pressure using a sealed extremity chamber or disposable device to promote healing .

Pulsatile Oxygen Delivery

OXYGEN IN, METABOLIC GASES OUT

FRESH OXYGEN INFLOW

Pneumatic pressurizer generates a controlled pulsatile flow of oxygen delivering to the wound bed throughout the therapy, creating a 30 oxygen changes/Hour in the chamber

PASSIVE EXHAUST OF USED GASES

  • Normal tissue metabolism releases small amount of CO2 and moisture
  • The gasses are passively eliminated through oxygen changes

THE PRESSURIZER ENHANCES OXYGEN-RICH WOUND MICROENVIRONMENT

Key Benefits

  1. Promotes faster wound healing and tissue regeneration
  2. Enhances collagen formation and angiogenesis
  3. Reduces infection risk by controlling bacterial growth
  4. Improves wound appearance and patient comfort
  5. Non-invasive, painless, and safe therapy
  6. Suitable for both clinical and home care settings

Mechanism of Action

Pressurization increases oxygen molecular density  and collision frequency, effectively enhancing kinetic energy of Oxygen molecule at the wound surface ,allowing oxygen  to diffuse into hypoxic tissues.

Higher kinetic energy increases interaction between oxygen and wound fluids

Increased chamber pressure and kinetic energy of oxygen molecules raises dissolved oxygen in

  1. WOUND EXUDATE
  2. MOIST WOUND SURFACE
  3. INTERSTITIAL FLUID

INTERSTITIAL FLUID SERVES AS THE MAIN DIFFUSION PATHWAY FOR OXYGEN DELIVERY

PROCEDURE PROTOCOL
  1. Wound cleaning and debridement  prior to therapy
  2. Placement of affected limb in a sealed  oxygen chamber
  3. Delivery of oxygen at 30 O2 changes /hour
  4. Session Duration- 60-90 minutes
  5. Frequency : 7 Sessions per week
  6. Average treatment courses – 15 sessions

Biological Response

PERFUSION, DEMARCATION, AND TISSUE RECOVERY

EARLY PHYSIOLOGICAL RESPONSE
  • Increased erythema indicating improved microcirculatory flow
  • Enhanced tissue hydration and metabolic activity

DEMARCATION EFFECT (CLINICAL ADVANTAGE)
  • Improved oxygenation defines the boundary between Viable, perfused tissue and Non-viable tissues
  • Supports accurate assessment and timely debridement decisions

TOPICAL OXYGEN ENHANCES TISSUE ASSESSMENT AND INITIATES BIOLOGICALLY DRIVEN RECOVERY

How It Works

The system delivers controlled, concentrated oxygen directly to the wound through a specialized oxyhood chamber. This helps combat localized hypoxia, stimulates granulation tissue formation, and supports the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
